Two warranties, not one
Every roof we install comes with coverage from two directions. Ours covers the work. IKO's covers the materials.
From us
2 or 5 years
Workmanship warranty, depending on the package you choose. Covers the installation itself.
From IKO
15 or 20 years
Iron Clad material warranty, available because we are a Roof Pro Select certified installer.
The Iron Clad difference
Most material warranties depreciate. The longer you own the roof, the less a claim pays out, which is how a "lifetime" warranty can be worth almost nothing by the time you would need it.
Iron Clad does not work that way. A claim in year 20 still pays 100 percent of what the materials are worth. That coverage is only available through contractors certified at the Roof Pro Select tier.
It transfers with the house
Limited lifetime coverage, fully transferable if you sell the home. If you sell, the buyer inherits the coverage, and a recent roof with transferable warranty is a genuine selling point.
What keeps it valid
Full tear-off rather than a layover, and proper attic ventilation. Both are standard on every roof we install, which is not true everywhere. Roofing over an old layer is the most common reason a homeowner discovers their warranty is void exactly when they need it.
