  1. Step 01

    You call or text

    Justin answers. There is no call center, no lead broker and no salesman working on commission. Text a photo of the problem and you will often get a useful answer before anyone drives out.

  2. Step 02

    He gets on the roof

    A real inspection means climbing it, not walking the yard with binoculars. Justin photographs what he finds, including the parts you cannot see from the ground, and shows you.

  3. Step 03

    You get a written bid

    Itemised, in writing, often the same day. You can hand it to another contractor and compare like for like. No pressure discount that disappears at midnight.

  4. Step 04

    We schedule around the weather

    Roofing is weather-dependent work. We give you a realistic window and tell you when it moves, rather than leaving you wondering whether anyone is coming.

  5. Step 05

    Tear-off, down to the deck

    The old roof comes off completely. We never roof over an existing layer. Any soft or rotted decking is replaced before anything new goes on, and you see photos of it.

  6. Step 06

    Ice and water shield, then underlayment

    Ice and water shield along every eave and valley, then synthetic underlayment across the field. This is the layer that saves you during a February thaw, and it is where corners get cut.

  7. Step 07

    New flashing at every penetration

    Chimneys, sidewalls, pipe boots, skylights and valleys all get new flashing. Reusing old flashing is the single most common reason a new roof still leaks.

  8. Step 08

    Shingles, then ridge vent

    Your shingles go on to manufacturer spec, which is what keeps the warranty valid. Ridge vent goes on last so the attic breathes and the roof does not cook itself from underneath.

  9. Step 09

    We clean up daily

    Not just at the end. Tarps down before we start, debris cleared each day, and a magnet run over the whole yard for nails. More of our reviews mention cleanup than anything else.

  10. Step 10

    Final walk and your warranty paperwork

    Justin walks it with you before we leave. Then you get your paperwork: 2 or 5 years on our workmanship and a 15 or 20 years IKO Iron Clad warranty on the materials, transferable if you sell.

Questions we get asked

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most single-family homes are one to three days depending on size, pitch and weather. Customers regularly tell us we finished sooner than they expected.

Do I need to be home while you work?

No. Plenty of our jobs happen while people are at work. Justin is on site throughout and will send you photos as it goes.

What happens to my landscaping and driveway?

We tarp beds and shrubs before tear-off starts and keep the dumpster on boards where the driveway needs protecting. Damage is rare and we make it right when it happens.

What if you find rotted decking?

We photograph it, show you, and tell you the cost before replacing it. Decking is priced per sheet and it is the one item nobody can predict accurately until the old roof is off.
